Well written but a little depressing. The illustrations are lovely.
Beautiful wood-engravings and great writing on every page. This is one of the nicest miniature editions that Running Press has done.
Rather twee and the illustrations less useful than those in “Portraitof a Country Artist”. Has the look of a Gifte Booke
A biography of the artist with copious illustrations, many of them full page and in colour.
