I picked this up before Christmas, anticipating baking cookies for my sons' parties at school. Honestly, I had gone shopping to buy a different book but after looking through this one and trying out a couple of her recipes on the Food Allergy Mama blog, I went for this one. Everything I have made so far from it has come out well and received glowing compliments.

Also included are product recommendations, information on how to check labels and suggestions for class parties - very useful show more information. Most of her recipes use common ingredients like unsweetened applesauce as substitutes (silken tofu is about as exotic as it gets), which makes it a great introduction to baking for people with peanut, tree nut, egg or dairy allergies. show less

Colorful photos with the recipes. so many categories to choose from. Many show more substitutions from a regular recipe that can be used for most food allergies.
No nutritional information but from the list of ingredients you can tell the food is very healthy.
