Does just what you'd expect. But not the most engaging read ever.
Adequately detailed histories for the lines and rolling stock. But the production standards (small format, tiny print, B&W illustrations) are of their time.

An English language guide, with b/w illustrations of the history of the Metro, with stock lists, etc (up to 1988). Well worth taking to Paris, although, perhaps inevitably, parts are now largely out of date, (but the rest doesn't alter). Dewey shows this with a class of 910. Surely not - shouldn't this be in the 385 or 625 series, or even that for Paris travel?
Did you know that the Guildford - Portsmouth Harbour line was electrified on May 29th 1937, but only at the weekend until July 4th 1937.
