Mannheim Steamroller

In all honesty, this CD added not one new song to my Mannheim Steamroller collection. It might be nice to add if you wanted a quick taste of their songs that appear across various collections. Still, their music is wonderful, making this an "okay" collection.

Mannheim Steamroller fans can safely skip this one. It might be nice as a gift to someone you wanted to introduce to the group as it has tried and true favorites.

The videos are standard files of generic Christmas cozy settings. I have the music on CDs, because our family likes the band a lot.

Mannheim Steamroller specializes in unusual arrangements using standard instruments and electronic instrumentation, in a blend of traditional and modern idioms. This recording also features the Cambridge Singers on "Veni Veni" and the Renaissance Le Doo Dah Band (old acoustic instruments) on "Gagliarda" and accompanying on other tracks.
