SO disappointing, that this skilled novelist had absolutely NO one he could turn to, who'd candidly tell him that he'd made a shameful mistake just about EVERY time he used a Spanish word or phrase. Very distracting for the reader, very VERY disrespectful to Mexican Spanish.
