They certainly packed a lot into this movie. Well done special effects. Decent acting. There was plenty of gore, nasty man-eating monster(s), a sinking ship, lots of death and dying (in not so pleasant ways), violence, action, guns, quite a bit of shooting up things, some comic moments, blowing up things, destroying things and some references to (or ideas borrowed from) other movies (like the Poseidon adventure, The Thing and Titanic). The premise was a bit too far fetched (and didn't always show more make sense) and the movie went on a bit too long. Not the worst horror movie I've seen. If you have nothing better to do and want a horror movie with sea monsters, you might like it. show less

A campy and silly horror movie which isn't scary, but full of action, vampires, blood and Hugh Jackman. One of my three perfect movies which are so bad they become good. Leaves you feeling happy to watch Hugh Jackman. Did I mention Hugh Jackman? Yeah.
Treasure hunters awaken an immortal supervillain.

2.5/4 (Okay).

It's dumb and too long, but at least it tries to be fun.
