Currently I'm in the process of designing a nutritional sheet with real life picture suggestions to send home to the parents. We are hoping but giving ideas we will start seeing a wider range of lunches. While reading this short non-fiction book it made me think of the project I'm working on. Every page uses bright real life pictures with the word printed next to it. This is great for teaching new vocabulary to toddlers and the beginning concept of words. At the same time it's highly show more educational for the adult reading it. It gives examples of how to build a healthy plate and offers a wide range of suggestions. This book does a great job teaching colors by using foods that are the same color while also adding cultural diversity with the illustration's.

This book is adorable. It is a book that you would read to very young children. The book is board and has pictures of babies of all different cultures making different facial expressions. This book is also written in Hebrew, below each word written in English is the same word written in Hebrew. This book is very baby friendly; the cardboard texture is easy on teething babies. ~Hannah

This book shows different types of families. even covers animal families. nice pictures and descriptions.
