This book appears to be meant as a cautionary tale about why children should listen to their parents, but I found it annoying. LIttle elephant gets into trouble for not listening . . . oh yes. I felt a bit beat over the head by the message, though.

Cute flap book, with second half of each verse behind the flap. There is a second version of the nursery rhyme after the traditional one. I'm not sure how long the flaps would survive a toddler's curiosity.
