Once again, another great book by Rebecca! Just don't ask me how many times I've used this and made these toys --too many to count. I also make a lot using fingering yarn and I put a squeaker in them. I sew a clip at the top of these little guys, and the kids attach them to their backpacks, purses, totes, etc. I even had one little boy suggest I make them for the whole school! (Not going to happen, however). Whatever the yarn you have and whatever its weight, you can turn it into 'fun'!
This is a nice book of patterns for knitted toy monsters. There are a few int his book I love and alot of others I don't. My only gripe is that quite a few of them are very similar. Also, I didn't find it very beginner friendly as far as a few of the methods go - when it talks about doing a specific kind of method for "magic loop" I don't think the accompanying pictures that illustrate it are very helpful.

I also thought that it wasn't covered at all how to not end up with a hole in the show more monsters crotch..??!? Or maybe you're supposed to have a hole there that you knit up later - either way that point isn't covered. So just a few points I found difficult. So I would consider this more of a medium to intermediate book for knitters wanting to make stuffed toys.

Rebecca Danger has a personal blog/etsy store. It was nice knowing if I got stumped I could reach out and email her if I really wanted to.
