Reviews
While this book is thoroughly researched and contains bountiful material on the 6th Wisc. Infantry, the book devotes only one chapter to the title subject. It is interesting in that one can follow several personages from their enlistment to their grave and it does take some effort to attempt to resolve some issues concerning the battle, if one is wishing to obtain a through analysis of the action at the railroad cut, they would be better served by reading another volume.
