I'm going to keep this one for a while. These crafts & projects are kid-friendly, but not babyish, not just plain silly. I marked almost a dozen that I definitely want to try. The instructions & photos are clear and uncomplicated.

A little bit of prior knowledge is helpful on some, and a tolerance for imperfection is helpful on many. Knowing how to use liquid glue, having permission to use an oven (with supervision), and how to sew a simple seam by hand, for example, helps a lot. Being show more willing to buy some affordable supplies like paint and tissue paper helps. Having an accumulation of buttons, scraps of wrapping paper and fabric, shirt and corrugated cardboard, and markers or pens helps. But with 365 choices, you're bound to find something you're ready to do now!

In other words, it's just about perfect for someone like me, who likes simple ideas for repurposing and making instead of buying, but doesn't have a lot of skill.

Now I have a use for the little sliding matchboxes that are too nifty to discard!
