This book is awesome!! I tell you one this for sure, they don't write 'um like this anymore. This little book is a time machine, it will open a big can of "reality check" to show just how far to the left we have moved as a society. Just think about it...only 55 yrs. ago it was okay for children to read about Ali Babas slave, called Morgiana, this little lady will do anything to protect her master's fortune and merry his son. She helps Ali Baba cover up the circumstances of his brothers show more death, he was cut into "four pieces", and she "went to fetch a leatherworker" to sew the body together again. She follows this act up with,"So Mogiana took oil from the jar in the courtyard, and she boiled it in the kettles. When it was hot she poured oil into each of the jars until each thief was smothered." But shes not done yet, she still needs to take out the head thief, she does this with a seductive dance, "And when she had finished dancing, and the men were still entranced with her beauty and with the music, Morgiana plunged a dagger deep into the heart of the wicked robber." Only after all this did she get her man and live happily ever after. show less
