A history of Colma, the Peninsula city south of San Francisco that is home to multiple cemeteries after San Francisco no longer allowed burials. Eventually all its cemeteries except for the military one in the Presidio were moved to Colma.

He describes each cemetery's history and mentions some notable residents at each. It's a little annoying that only some of the famous burials are located on the maps that accompany each chapter, and a map of Colma showing all the cemeteries would be show more useful. However, it's the only book about Colma that I know of and that alone makes it a must for any taphophile's library. show less
