I grabbed "Net Slaves" after hearing of the horror stories of massively overworked staff at web start-ups and thought I would hear the hilarious tales of start-up money being hilariously wasted as the website goes down the gurgler due to a lack of funds/staff. I didn't really get that, unfortunately. Instead I got an, at times, poorly written book (presumably produced in a rush to take advantage of this "internet" thing that was popular for a period in the late 1990s before fading away.

Some show more of the articles might prove amusing to the average reader but generally I'd advise against reading "Net Slaves". show less
