This tome is a compilation of seven sermons that were given by Evangelist John R. Rice all with Christmas-related themes. These sermons touch upon the shepherds, the wise men, the manger, and the Virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Dr. Rice does a wonderful job of sharing important truths with plenty of Scripture. Highly recommend.

If this book really diagnoses what is wrong with thousands of churches that win few souls or none and shows the remedy which honest Christians, pastors and people, may use to correct this awful failure and make great soul-winning churches, winning multiplied thousands of souls, this book is surely a revolutionary book.
Dr. Rice not only tells families how they can have a Christian home, he inspires them to want to have one. The book contains a long chapter on abortion. A concluding section is "Family Tributes to Dad" from Mrs. Rice and each of his six lovely daughters. If the "proof of the pudding is in the eating," that section will certainly prove the validity of everything Dr. Rice has written in the preceding eig
I don't think there is a better study than this one on the subject of Christian Giving. Totally balanced and totally Scriptural. Its different than many similar works in that it deals effectively with the subject of storehouse tithing, which many authorities have a wrong view of.
