A brilliant little book describing the great stand of commander Quinlan Irishman, who were acting as United Nations peacekeepers in the Belgian Congo. This is a little known skirmish that ended up being a siege and potentially a huge diplomatic incident. It also highlighted the difficulties in command, control, poor military intelligence, and how badly the United Nations did with regards to some of these matters in the 1960s.
