Interesting way of looking at our school system's attempts to help students avoid getting into trouble, so that their school record does not follow them into real life if it is negative. If the behaviour of this shooter had been documented, it's possible that he would never have been able to purchase guns and the tragedy might have been avoided. Are we helping children when we enable them to avoid the consequences of their poor choices in school.
