I'm not a fan of reunion romances, especially ones after a very long separation, but I am glad I picked this book up. It's a very compelling read.

The prequel to Perfect Assassin, and I really should have read them in the correct order. This is the story of Nadja Stefn, a woman who, when fleeing some thugs ended up in bed with a man who helped her get away. This relationship has stayed in the back of her mind and she wonders if she will ever meet him again, after all, she had a daughter from that one-night stand, she doesn't even know his name. When she's assigned to work with that man, it brings a whole load of issues back to haunt show more her.

Her father is an assassin and he has trained Prisca Reznik to follow in his footsteps, she has a mission to kill the people on her father's Kill File. Her mother has to be avenged. She thinks that she is doing the right thing but is it? What happens if you end up being grateful to the next man on the list.

Readable but a bit laboured romance. Sometimes I wasn't sure that the author knew where to go next with the story

Quick read about the mafia family but it made the main characters seem like they cared about some people. Nice that Joey still felt for Rhea even with all her scars when he could have any female.
