It's almost 25 years old, but this book provided everything I needed for the NLN Microbiology exam, and did not cover any irrelevant topics. If you want a basic understanding of microbiology, especially in reference to diseases and immunity, this will give it to you.
A good quick and dirty review. Don't expect to ace your semester exams with it, but if it's been a few years since your last science class and you've got to take the PCAT in a week or so--ahem--not bad at all.
Another terrific addition to the library of nursing and allied health science students. The drawings in this coloring book often make clearer some of the concepts that are presented only in words in the class's main textbook. I tutored some friends who struggled with microbiology, and this coloring book was one of my best tools.
Highly recommended for students newly learning, for tutors, or as a refresher once in the upper level clinical courses.

For life science students, nursing students, students in other health science fields, or for anyone who wants a better view of human anatomy. The human anatomy coloring books make a terrific addition to your textbook or will be a handy refresher of the relevant anatomy when students get into their upper level clinical courses.
I can't recommend the coloring books highly enough!
