D. F. Wilson

This is not a genre I have read much of but the storyline was very interesting. I like the way the author inserted a former Navy SEAL into the royal guard and how his character and leadership gained him additional responsibility and respect with all but the Queen Mother, who didn't seem to like anyone not born under a Royal Banner. Maddie was a handful for Brayden (no pun intended) and it was interesting to see their relationship blossom and the unexpected heat made this old dude blush. Good show more book - very well written. show less
