A beautiful little story with exquisite illustrations. Trilby the cat goes to play in the Deep Woods. He had never been there before and wonders what he will see... a little fox? an opossum? But no, Trilby meets a friendly little dragon called George Appleton. None of the other animals will play with George Appleton because they are afraid of him but Trilby doesn't have any preconceived ideas about dragons and George and Trilby spend a wonderful afternoon playing together.
