A good selection of the traditional Welsh airs, with decent arrangements and performances. The male vocalist of the Amber Quartet is too nasal for my taste. Vocals are in English instead of Welsh, however, which is a downside to me. I know "Sweet Jenny Jones" by another name that I can't think of right now. The Amber Quartet includes the other named performers; Dragonsfire includes Jon Banks (harpist).

I strongly recommend this CD, 'Music for Book Lovers'. As always,anything produced under the stamp of the Bodleian Library,Oxford is well done indeed. Good recording,a well-rounded selection,and nicely produced too.
As the blurb says "Gentle music makes a perfect accompaniment to reading,and this selection has been chosen with the reader in mind."
I really couldn't have put it better myself.
