Great guidebook for the beautiful city of St. Petersburg and some of the surrounding sights, with tons of pictures and helpful illustrations, background information, and a reasonably good selection of highlights and walking tours. Maybe a little more flipping back and forth than other guide books with the way it’s organized, but that’s manageable, and the pull-out map on thick glossy paper was a huge plus.

This book tells us what life was like for 16 children living at different times in history. I will use this book in my teaching because we can learn about the history of the world. This book is so interesting and suitable for fifth grade and up.
