Eric Wilson (3) (1951–)

Written for people who may be considering starting a commercial worm farm, this book still contains plenty of useful information for people considering starting a smaller garden worm farm.

Wilson is a professional worm farmer in Australia, so much of his book reflects the experience in that country. He writes a lot about good worm husbandry techniques, and admonishes the reader to treat the worms as livestock. One of his commandments instructs us, "Do not fall in love with your worms." There show more is also a focus on worm farm product, such as vermicompost, worms or worm eggs, with an eye to producing in commercial grades and quantity.

A useful book if you're thinking of jumping into the worm business, but not the first one I would recommend for someone wanting to set up a small worm farm in the garden. show less
