I rate this book a three. I rate this book a three because although educational it can be very difficult for a child to read and follow along in, but I do think some children will find it interesting. My thought about this book is that it is very detailed and informative. It even has well drawn out diagrams to help students really understand what parts of vehicles look like and there specific names. For content area instruction I would use this book to introduce nonfiction books and how show more sometimes they can be fun and engaging at the same time. show less

Great pictures with details. This book has experiments you can try while still giving definitions of the different types of aviation machines. Great for those curious young readers
