Another installment in this series, with more real answers from real students. Some of these were very funny, and I admire the students who had the courage and creativity to come up with these. Some of these answers are honest mistakes, but others come from students who have no clue what the answer is and have chosen to go out in style. I think some of these young people deserved extra credit for being so entertaining, and also for showing that they have a sense of humor. It’s not as funny show more overall as its predecessor, and one of the answers is exactly correct (so why is it in here?), so this volume gets only 4 stars. Still, quite funny overall. I laughed out loud in several places. show less
Disclosure: I recieved a copy of this book via the LibraryThing early Reviewer program.

This is a collection of several smaller books into one big tome of wrong answers. Many of these answers are funny and clever. Most are illustrated with a photo of an "exam", even those that are not original (I've heard the "circumcised the globe with a wooden clipper."
for decades)

As a teacher, I have a lot of questions. Did the students give permission for their answers to be used in this way? Are we show more really seeing their drawings and answers? Because that seems like it would be a violation of privacy.

I'm conflicted; I also have many howlers from exams that I've given. (My favorite: the student that suggested the reason for the imbalance between the production of male and female gametes is that "sperm won't stop and ask for directions either.") But laughing AT students is not the same as laughing WITH students.

So maybe laugh, and then think about how the wording of the question contributed to the confusion? Because writing exams is both an art and a science.

Godot".
Andra favoriter: "Vilken roll spelade statsminister Per-Albin Hansson för Sverige under andra världskriget?" "Han spelade rollen som statsminister"
"Vem brukar kallas potatiskungen?" "King Edward".
Jag skrattade faktiskt show more högt flera gånger, så väl värt 29 kronor. show less
Mr Benson produces a very amusing book on the most hilarious answers by students who either didn't bother to study or were just bored to tears. No matter the subject, those who have taught in the classroom know & will laugh at the audacity or just pathetic responses to questions. That is, if one has a warped sense of humor.
