An enjoyable little read. Many of the pictures are a bit painful, as expected. There was always at least a one-line comment, and sometimes you needed these to really pick up the weirdness hiding in some of these photos. But it wasn't just a book of photos either - some sections sported entire stories that went behind the pictures. And there were also some sections of just embarrassing family stories, no photos necessary. A fun diversion.
Even nothing is something, Read this book and you will learn about nothing.
This title is recommended as a read aloud for ages 3 through Kindergarten. The humorous illustrations and text invite interaction. The use of words like poop and underwear will have the children laughing and entertained. The discussion that nothing can be something also extends the story.

How can you have a book about nothing? And furthermore, how can nothing be so funny? This book is here to prove you can have a book about nothing, and nothing can be hilarious! This humorous book uses puns and plays on words to make a point about how nothing is a daily part of our lives and routines. Elementary school-age children will get a kick out of it.
This book has a pretty high hit rate for hilarity--in fact, unless you live alone, you might fear to read it at night lest you wake others up with your laughter.
