John Bell (19) (1962–)

Between early November 1994 and late February 1995, thirty-two year old John Bell travelled through Southeast Asia. Travelling from Hong Kong to Indonesia, Bell met with both thrilling adventure and life-threatening peril as well as a series of intriguing characters. From the moment Bell sees the bright lights of Tokyo from an airplane window to his last sights of Bali's beautiful blue sea he is captivated by the tropical wonders of Southeast Asia. Author John Bell was born in Jasper, show more Alberta where he developed a lifelong love of the outdoors and travel. That love translated into a career as a tour guide, beginning as a guide at the Columbia Icefields, south of Jasper.
