David Bellamy (1) (1943–)

David Bellamy was brought up in Pembrokeshire, so the sea and coastline have always held a fascination for him. Although he works primarily in watercolour he also turns to oil and pastel painting at times, particularly when he feels a bolder statement is necessary. Highly regarded as a teacher of show more art, David has a tremendous following among leisure painters, many of whom have attended his extremely popular courses and workshops both in the UK and overseas. He also gives demonstrations and talks, has produced five successful videos on watercolour painting and is a regular contributor to Leisure Painter magazine show less
