Some books are to be read, some to be savoured. This is a piece of English history (ironically, printed in the United States). Blatchford has more historical right to call himself the founder of the British Labour Party than Keir Hardie, although he went off the rails and ended up a Liberal.

How simple it all seems, as one feasts upon these pages. Socialism will be welcomed by all, it will bring only good and, what is even more exciting, it's just around the corner! Sixty-five years later, we show more await with a little more sainge froid. None the less, it is still good to hold a historic document, such as this! show less
