The Associated Press takes a turn at chronicling the journey to the moon. Its eyewitness account includes the steps leading up to the Apollo 11 mission that took men to the lunar surface in fulfillment of a goal set by President John F. Kennedy in 1961. A Photo Gallery from the Apollo 11 mission supplements the narrative.

The Associated Press Stylebook 2017: and Briefing on Media Law (Associated Press Stylebook and Briefing on Media Law) by Associated Press
I give it five stars not because it's hot poopy but because if you are a person who writes for publication in newspapers and magazines you will follow this thing to the letter or you and your work will follow your ego to the slush pile. Always keep the latest copy handy (The A.P., publishes a different edition every year.). I skipped last year because I never wrote for publication in 2018. BUT, had I chosen to do so, I probably would have got a new copy of A.P.'s miserable rag before I did show more any work.
Best of luck to all dissenters.

I purchased this book when first published. While serving as a librarian, loaned my copy to my high school library, finally had to have professionally rebound. Looks like someone tore out a picture page at the front of the book, but according to the list of illustrations, nothing is missing. I was a sophomore in high school and in the band hall when his death was announced. I was totally immersed by these events and have followed most of the events that followed in his family. Have a show more collection of pictures of the family. To protect the rebound book, made a book jacket with picture, in color, of caisson, and added some additional pictures to book from my personal files. show less
