Another great book by Pastor Skip. You may have secured your house, but is your soul secure. Some great thought provoking questions backed up with biblical principle
NCLA Review: When individuals consider the Book of Revelation, there are usually two potential dangers that occur: avoiding reading it entirely or getting obsessed with its details. Skip Heitzig often succumbs to the latter in his book especially when he presumes to know exactly what God says about the last days. Interpretations of Revelation have been debated since the 1st century and will continue until Jesus once more returns to earth. The best parts of Heitzig’s writing are when he show more emphasizes that Christians should live their daily lives in readiness and anticipation of Christ’s return. Also worthwhile is his encouragement to not shy away from Revelation but to read it as a blessing from God. He seems to forget that Revelation is not a precise schedule of future events but a word of encouragement and hope that no matter how bad things may seem, God is always in charge and will ultimately triumph. I received an electronic ARC from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for honest review.
I enjoyed the set up of the whole book. For me it was like bible study. A crash course lesson, easy to understand for both the younger crowd as well as adults, who need more understanding and breaking down.
The illustrations are a plus, for those who need a visual example. And lastly, I enjoyed how it's speaking to you, not at you. Which makes it much more fun.
I highly recommend, and will show more definitely continue to use as a cross reference for better understanding. show less

Another superb book from Pastor Skip. A comprehensive look at who God is and his character and will. It's broken down in sections about the proof of God's existence, specific revelation, God's attributes, the Trinity, etc. Scripture explained thoroughly and questions answered. A must read for non believers and believers alike
