They're at their most commercial, and sound very, very 80's. Definitely my favorite Cars album.

Shake It Up by The Cars
The new wave band's fourth album.

3/4 (Good).

They've got a newish sound again, now with a more computerized-sounding synth, and a return to catchy pop songs. It's not nearly as strong as their debut, but it's fun.

7 or 8 of the 9 tracks could have been hit singles. That is how a pop album should be.

Panorama by The Cars
The new wave band's third album.

2/4 (Indifferent).

They take a sudden turn for the weird, without ever managing to do anything interesting. There is a nice slow song buried in the second half.
