Jerry Stiller's lines are mostly deathly unfunny, but how can you hold it against a guy for casting his dad? Other than that, this is the funniest movie in the world.
We enjoyed this, but didn't think it was quite as good as the first two films in the 'Meet the parents' trilogy. The twins Samantha and Henry aren't nearly as cute as Jack in the second film, and some of the humour and interaction between the parents feels a tad familiar, or forced.
But still, there's plenty of action, several subplots - albeit a bit far-fetched in some cases - and an excellent cast. There is some semi-comic violence towards the end that is cleverly done, but looks quite show more disturbing. I liked the ending very much, and we'll probably see this again some time; it makes a good concluding film. I don't think it would stand alone so well, as it relies on a lot of connections from the previous films.

A very amusing, well-produced romantic comedy with some romance and a lot of humour. Cleverly choreographed with a high quality cast, and the added bonus of a delightful young toddler, apparently played by identical twins.
Made in 2004, this is the sequel to 'Meet the parents', but we haven't seen that and it didn't matter at all. There's a lot of innuendo and discussion of sexuality, but nothing explicit, and only fairly mild bad language. The rating of 12A (PG-13) seems appropriate.
We show more liked this film very much, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a light-hearted film and doesn't mind somewhat crude humour in places.
