I have since gone on to ready much more on the subject of time, but I picked this up on a whim for vacation reading and it was a revellation. When time allows I'll re-read it and might lower my rating, but this set me on a journey so deserves a 5.
It is an approachable philosophical analysis of the physics of time, not easy by any means (how can you make the question "Why can we remember the past but not the furure?" easy?) but the author is patient and methodical and so when the reader does show more his/her part, the job gets done. show less
