As a sculptor and potter myself, I'm always collecting art books to look through for inspiration, and I was so excited to have received this book from a member giveaway! The variety of the content and photos is wonderful! The history info gives great background to what is in the pictures! I'm currently working on a tiki-themed ceramic dinner set inspired by this book. This book has definitely earned a spot in my permanent collection!

An immensely informative collection of pictures, stories, and history of the Ki'i - turned Tiki - of the Hawaiian Islands and the culture it subsequently sparked. Very well organized and wonderfully attractive. A welcome addition to an art or history book collection.

Nice book. Full of tiki pictures with an explanation of each photo. Recommended for anyone traveling to the islands. This book will add to your experience.
