Not gonna lie, I judged a book by it's cover to grab this book. What can I say, a Moose Fairy is just way to interesting to pass up! Plus the squirrel, bunny and skunk on the cover make it stand out a lot.
This fun tale brings an adorable story to life. It makes magical times feel real and exciting, even if it's just a fictional story. There's a fairy club and our moose friend wants to join! It sounds perfect for Moose! The twirling, the singing and the glitter all sound so exciting, show more especially for Mr. Moose! The only problem... he doesn't fit through the tiny hole to the clubhouse! But when he comes to the rescue of his new friends, there might just be hope!
This book is so sweet and so cute. It brought so much happiness to my heart. I highly recommend it! A tale of friendship and fitting in, so great!
Five out of five stars!

Tiger Tales pretty reliably produces cute, colorful fare. Usually I pick their books to fill in gaps in the collection or for book-hungry toddlers, but every once in a while one comes along that stands up and yells "behold my cuteness!" and I do.
A little mouse gets the fun started with some squeaky sounds and then all the animals join in with taps, tweets, hoots and more. But who's the real star of the musical show? Why, it's the hiccuping hippo of course, who started everything with her show more hiccup bubbles!
Naughtier children will doubtless attribute the bubbles to *cough* another source, but toddlers will happily bounce along with the rhythm and giggle over the myriad of silly sounds. The vibrant, scratchy illustrations are the perfect background to this light and frothy story.
Verdict: While I usually pick up Tiger Tales when I have some spare budget, this is one that will definitely be at the top of my order list. Recommended.

A playful little bear just woke up and is ready for action.....in his excitement, he forgets the things that are important, his new tortoise friend helps remind him.
A cute story, although highly unrealistic. Bears are in a state called walking hibernation upon waking. They're lethargic and ravenous from months without food...the first thing they do is seek sustenance.
I think it's important to teach children facts about the world and living creatures around them. It's fine to make it fun and show more cute.....and yes, even completely fantastical....but, I feel this book missed some valuable learning opportunities. Perhaps some bear facts at the end or some mention of hibernation realities in the story.
Overall....a cute story....but, nothing too special. show less

Lots of excellent animal/musical sound effects and a building pattern. I'm not sure the ending really hangs together, but it doesn't matter so much for a storytime, when the cacophony of animal sounds is the point.
