Snow Queen (Picture Books) by Alan Marks

There's a great deal of unsolicited kissing going on in this book...

This is a hard tale to introduce to children. It's very long (fifty pages can be a lot for a little guy, even if they don't have much text on them!), and there's just so much going on. But given the length and weight of the tale, Lesley Sims did a pretty alright job. It's perhaps a bit too dumbed down in places - there is a way to speak in a manner that children will understand AND be poetic - but there's no denying that it show more gets the story across. show less

The Antenna Syndrome by Alan Marks

Read this a while back, good clean fun. The story? A grunge private detective, battling some weird shit and too many girlfriends finally gets the car of his dreams. Great stuff. Like to get my hands on a digital edition.
