Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: The Trigger Point Manual; Vol. 2., The Lower Extremities [Hardcover] [Oct 09, 1992] Janet G. Travell and David G. Simons by Janet G. Travell
the opening chapter "apropos of all muscles" is a brilliant explanation of the operations of the body's muscles and associated anatomy; but the rest of the book relies so heavily on the dubious methods of spray & stretch (with chemical vapocoolant) and injection (w local anesthetic procaine) that it all feels rather confused, unfocused, crowded
