Reformation heroes : a simple, illustrated overview of people who assisted in the great work of the Reformation by Diana Kleyn
When we think of the Reformation, we have a tendency to think first of Martin Luther. However, there were a number of other people and events that helped bring about the Reformation. In the book Reformation Heroes, by Diana Kleyn with Joel R. Beeke, we find that God was already preparing the way for Luther several centuries earlier with men such as Peter Waldo who translated the Bible into French and taught that the Catholic Church was wrong. Because of persecution, they fled to other lands show more including Germany. John Wycliffe, John Huss and others followed. This book also contains a glossary, maps and other useful information to help keep track of the reformers who were willing to die for the truth. This book is found on the library shelves under the number 270.6/KLE. show less
