I love Hilda. She is my new hero. Hilda is the type of wicked witch who has her own agenda and follows it. She is not horribly wicked. I found her to be more "fun" wicked. It is an amusing book that answers the question, "why did 7 strangers let a woman they never met stay on in their house?" The answer, of course, is they were horny little men and Snow White wasn't so innocent. I know the editing wasn't always great but look past that. It really was an entertaining read.
How can you not enjoy a story about a grumpy, inept wicked witch?
A fun read.
A fun read.
The wicked witch is in search of a fair maiden to give a poisoned apple but in the process of transporting herself to her location she finds herself in an unknown place where there appears to be little magic. She begins a search for a magical book to help her find her way home. Along the way she comes across many different characters some of which get in her way and she has no remorse in using her magic to set them straight. It was short and sweet and to the point.
Immature, lacking interesting characters and filled with silly lines. I tried, I wanted something funny but this was just not it for me.
