The All-Inclusive: A virgin bride, military hero, why choose spicy romance (The Jilted Brides Honeymoon Club Book 3) by Tawna Fenske
Favorite Quotes:
You know it’s Portland when you have to specify which vegan strip club.
My Review:
Holy scorched sheets, this missive was atomically hot! This is the final installment of the series, and it was on fire from beginning to end; my Kindle was sweating, and so was I. There were multiple well-paced and relevant storylines with the plot featuring a dumped, repressed, chastity culture virgin bride who had been saving herself for her Marine fiancé/childhood sweetheart, who BTW, had show more been sampling a variety of wares elsewhere. Sparks flew, romance bloomed, snarky repartee was flung about, family issues were dealt with, and all had a much-anticipated and highly desired happy ending. Sigh, if only real life ran as smoothly as this was written. show less

Take Me: A small-town, fake dating, friends-to-lovers romantic comedy (Cherry Blossom Lake Romantic Comedies Book 5) by Tawna Fenske
Favorite Quotes:
We look like two lust-drunk lovers caught riding the bony express in the shower, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
People assume we’re dunking the dingus every chance we get. We should probably be licking each other’s tonsils or something.
“That was some record-breaking, grade-A, world-class sex. The stuff of legends, honestly. Olympic-caliber.”... “I assume they’ll be filming when they come to present us with the gold medals.”
“It’s not every day the show more world record gets broken for mattress dancing.”“You think they’ll hold a parade?”“They’ll throw penis confetti like we had at Zoe’s bachelorette party.”
The word love pings something inside me. It’s an odd mix of terror and joy that leaves me a little bit queasy.
Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt and discovered it itches and has a hole in the armpit.
My Review:
I gleefully giggle-snorted and sighed contentedly during my perusal of Ms. Fenske’s latest missive. I always enjoy her rib-tickling rom-coms. She has a wicked sense of humor and divine word skills. I adore her well-written and highly amusing tales. I tend to fall in love with her uniquely endearing, smoking hot, and quirky characters. I always ruefully think of wanting to move in next door so I can continue to follow their adventures. show less

Favorite Quotes:
I’m pretty sure he’d look great bald. He’d look great wearing a burlap sack and a Burger King crown.
He spoke like a man addressing a third grader eating Crayolas in class.
All the thoughts I’ve been pushing to the back of my brain come charging at me like rabid goblins. I’m twitchy and flummoxed and maybe a little bit scared.
You’re kind and you’re funny and I feel like the best version of me when I’m around you.
“Is that a can of Pringles in your pocket, or show more are you happy to see me?” A broad smile spreads over his face. “I am very happy to see you.” He drops a hand to his pocket and pulls out the familiar red can. “And also, I brought Pringles.”
My Review:
I greedily devoured the first two installments of this series like a binge dieter at a buffet. Both of these salacious tales are full of gasp-producing sizzle, humorous quips, snarky sass, and dehydrating sensuality. Keep libation at hand and fans on high as this crafty scribe has brought a wide variety of heart-pounding heat to this series, as well as all the feels, romance, and amusing humor. I am eagerly awaiting the third installment, and I will read anything Ms. Fenske cares to scribble. show less

I absolutely love Cooper, his humor, love for his family, and just everything. He used to be a famous actor now he is his family’s “go-fer.” He had me laughing and when he was even being awkward, he stole my heart. Amy works hard and has regrets when it comes to her brother, so she knows to stay away from Cooper, but fate has other plans. The story was sweet, funny, I loved both their family dynamics, but they both have their own regrets and mistakes will they be able to overcome those show more to see what life has in store for them? This series is full of laughs and emotions, but above all you feel like you are a part of this group and are emersed in their lives. show less
