I read this book out loud to my children, ages 11, 12 and 13. The book was LOL funny for all of us but parts of it were much funnier to me. Set in the summer in the 60's there were some cultural things I picked up on and found hilarious that the kids missed. Still a fun story.

Free ebook from Barnes & Noble. It was a cute, mostly entertaining story. It was not really a book that I HAD to finish, though. At times I was able to put it down and not come back to it for several weeks. But it was a fun story about a summer of growing up.
