This book show several different animals. It describes the characteristics of the animals. It also tells the reader where each animal comes from. It tells of how some animals got from one country to another.
The plot is just to give information to the reader. There is not a narrator. The illustrations of the book show how some of the characteristics of an animal are done. This theme was animals and living in their habitat. The design was good.
I liked this book. It gave a lot of good show more information on the animals. I learned somethings from this book. It is written to keep the attention of the reader. It was unique in the way that the illustrations showed some of the characteristics of the animal.
In the classroom it would be good to do a group participation in grouping the children together to remember all they can about the characteristics and do a chart or list for all the characteristics of that one animal. The children could also write a reflection on which animal they liked best and why.
