Nice oversized book with good photos, many quite large and all in color. The accompanying biography is comparatively short and necessarily lacks depth, but it also lacks a good copy editor: there are several bad typos and mistakes (e.g., calling Cassandra's fiance Tom Lefroy rather than Tom Fowle). Overall this a good companion book to biographies of Austen, helping to visualize the places she lived and visited: interiors and exteriors, city, and country.
