I'll try again some other time. I can get past clunky writing, or I can get past assertions by the author about what I'm like, but not both. I just can't get beyond the foreward. The author. lonely and despondent, seeks to develop personal relationships, or at least he doesn't go to any lengths to avoid them, and then he ends up in the most unthinkable relationship in Arabia.
