Brianna's brother Scott is blind and partially deaf and because of this her dickhead of a dad decides to force her to conceive a child with a man of his choosing in order to get a perfect male heir, how sick is that? When Cole sees Brianna he immediately feels protective of her and refuses to let her leave with her father.

Can you believe that I like this book so much that I have read it five times? Well it's true for some reason this book just really calls out to me and then I just have to show more read it.

I am not sure if it's the really hot steamy bedroom scenes or that fact that I like seeing an idiot parent decked by his own son. Brianna and Scott have a lot of obstacles and the biggest one is their idiot father. Andrew Wyatt is most definitely a certifiable jack wagon in need of castration and parenting lessons from a jail cell.

Let us not forget the two charming heroes that save Scott and Brianna, you could almost feel the love at first moment for both Cole and Tyler, it was some seriously good writing on Annnarie McKenna's part. They started with blackmailing her into staying providing themselves with a chance to keep her. I am glad it worked out for them and Brianna.

Where to begin with the sister from hell, made me thankful for my sisters that's for sure. That fruit loop didn't roll far from the tree. Sure made me feel like it was coming at them from all directions. Andrew should have learned to either keep it in his pants or how to use a condom.

Overall a really good book with lots of ups and downs to keep some one interested, even though it isn't a paranormal read it is still worth the time to read.

This almost got shelved under angst but it was resolved pretty quickly. Nikki is traumatized and scarred from an attack and is afraid to see her brother's best friend again because she thinks he will be disgusted with her appearance and pity her for her trauma. She's been in love with him for years and assumes she has no shot at all with him. Little does she know, he's a werewolf and her mate. A fair bit of action and suspense. This would have been 3.5 stars but I felt like the angst was show more resolved pretty quickly and I like it a bit more drawn out. Instead, most of the focus was on the suspense part of the plot. Hot sex though. show less

Tieran has resigned herself to living alone – with the exception of her Grandmother, who just happens to have been dead for ten years! A clairvoyant, Tieran’s visions can be set off with the merest touch, making dating quite a trick. Add to that the fact that most men run in the other direction when they learn of her psychic gifts, and she has given up on love.

Caelan would like nothing better than to find his mate – just not right now. As Pack show more Prime, it’s his duty to find the shape shifter who has been murdering the female mates in various packs before it’s too late. When Caelan meets his destiny in the form of Tieran Jones one night, his time starts running out, knowing the murderer’s ultimate target would be the mate of the Pack Prime.

Tieran’s visions might be the only way to save them all, but they seem to point to Caelan’s twin brother as the killer! Will he choose his mate, or his brother?

Seeing Eye Mate is only the second published work of Annmarie McKenna, and yet her writing skill is that of a seasoned author. With her tale of paranormal romance, McKenna proves she is no one hit wonder, knocking another one out of the ball park!

Pairing a hunky shape shifter like Caelan with a clairvoyant like Tieran affords the author the opportunity for an easy acceptance between the two lovers, with only slight trepidation regarding each other’s paranormal abilities. With this obstacle almost dealt with, the couple is left to struggle with their own fears and doubts, or rather, Tieran’s fears and doubts. While staged as a paranormal romance, the adversity we see is very human, rendering the story relatable to the average reader on a more personal level. We are left with a story that satisfies those of us who enjoy a good supernatural story whose problems can be easily understood and identified with.

That said, ‘Seeing Eye Mate’ does not lack for any of the steamy love scenes you would expect in a shape shifter tale, and Caelan earns a place at the top of the list of unexpectedly sensitive sexy alpha males we all dream of finding.

Tieran herself is a strong independent woman who is utterly confused by Caelan’s appearance in her life, and her own feelings about him. I would wager there are many women who will identify with Tieran’s inner turmoil concerning her relationship with Caelan.

The icing on the cake is that we have an exciting mystery underneath it all. McKenna once again proves herself adept with subtle twists and turns in the story, littering the saga with clues that only begin to coalesce as the mystery finally unfolds, and leaving no doubt that there isn’t a superfluous scene in the novel.

He’s a shape-shifting wolf, she’s a psychic and his other half. In order to catch a killer he has to rely on his Seeing Eye Mate.

Caelan Graham is on the hunt for a shape-shifter bent on killing female mates. As Prime, it’s Caelan’s duty to protect his entire pack, so it’s a good thing he doesn’t have a mate of his own to look after right now. Too bad the most alluring female has just walked past his nose.

As a clairvoyant, Tieran Jones has given up on men and their lack of show more understanding her gift—until Caelan. The man ignites her passion, sets off a vision of a gruesome wolf attack, then shows up in her bed. In wolf form. To top it all off, he keeps insisting she’s his mate.

When the attacks continue, Tieran’s visions evolve and point in one direction. Caelan’s twin brother. With a lack of physical evidence, Caelan must depend on Tieran’s sight for clues. An act making her a prime target.
