So many great stories in one little package.

Kissed by You - I discovered Sophia Knightly surprisingly through a free e-book. Knew right away I had to read the next book in the series, so I purchased it. The irony of it is that the first book I ever read by her was book one in the Tropical Heat series. The sense of adventure, the steamy love story and the mystery of Wild For You lead me to the next book in the series Sold on You. I loved that book so much I had to purchase it for all of my show more e-readers. Hard to believe that Kissed by You is book 3. I love that she took Christmas and built a story of tragedy, disappointment, love and healing around it. Made the element of romance all the more irresistibly sweet. Working through painful memories and heartbreaking events at anytime is never easy but Ms. Knightly uses a holiday synonymous with forgiveness, miracles and healing makes for a poignant backdrop. Kissed by You is a powerful read that is a welcome edition to any romantic library.

Wooed by You - Sophia Knightly has been blessed with the ability to write stories about strong yet vulnerable women. Isabel is a smart young women beaten down by circumstances. For some reason trouble seems to find her no matter how hard she tries to escape it. Her worst mistake is dead and buried but his presence still lingers in her life. Her inability to trust her own judgment is reeking havoc with the stability she is seeking for herself and her daughter. Linc comes into her life when she is at her lowest. Linc is reliable, understanding and trustworthy. Everything her ex was NOT. She finds herself heading down a road she never expected. Can she allow her heart to give the happiness she deserves? Or will she allow her head to lead her astray? There are similarities with another story in the Tropical Heat series-Wild For You. In both stories the strong male lead brought out the spirit of the female lead. That is important because in Wooed By You Isabel's spirit had been crushed and Linc helped her find her way back. A heated thrill ride that gives hope.

Ivy and Stone prove that first impressions can be deceiving. Knightly still has a few tricks up her sleeve. Heart Stealer takes an ironic look at the childhood fantasy of love and turns into a modern day realistic one. Forget the white knight and the charming prince and take a look at the brooding hero and his pessimistic heroine. Ivy sells the dream, yet has lost the power to believe in her's ever coming true. Stone wants acceptance, but is afraid to risk open himself up to a world of show more heart. An almost tragedy brings the bridal shop owner and the reclusive inventor out of their self imposed shells and forces them to face what's in their hearts. This may sound a tad cliche but Heart Stealer is a reminder that a fairytale doesn't have to be something we read in a book, but the emotion we feel within our hearts. show less
I enjoyed this romance by Sophia Knightly. I read it over the busy weekend before the Fourth of July. I found myself eagerly returning to it each time I had to put it down. I liked the setup for the story. I did keep waiting for something awful to happen but was okay with it not. I did not much care for Isabel. I was a single mom so I definitely understood her need to protect Suzie. I just thought she came off as more the fearful women pretending to be strong for attention type. I really show more don't care for those dramatic type women, in books and real life. I hated her inconsistency and her lack of respect toward Linc. There was a pivotal scene and it infuriated me the total disregard she had for him. I don't want to go into it as it may spoil the book for you. I did like the rest of the characters though. I wish that the author had given an update on Isabel's mother in the epilogue. She was in much of the book and then just disappeared in the epilogue. I love the Cuban references, especially learning about noche buena. That was awesome though it did make me decidedly hungry.
This is a spicy romance so there is sexual activity. The book is easy to read and I imagine a number of you just flying through the pages.
