They are easy to make. Carrot tea cakes would be my favorite because they would taste like you did spend 3 hours making it as a traditional carrot cake but it's in individual sizes and the recipe is a quick one.
Lots of fun categories and flavors to explore.

"Best Ever Christmas Dessert Recipes" by Lori Burke was a good recipe book. I got this for my Kindle and thought I am saving not having another cookbook on my shelf...I have in on my Kindle yeah! I found plenty of cookies recipes....and a variety of other holiday recipes. You will find many new as well as old favorites. I found these recipes very informative and many of show more them can even be used through out the year. You will find the recipes are for the beginner as well as the advanced bakers. The only draw back was there were no pictures...but I knew that when I loaded it on my computer. Other than that I thought these were some great Christmas desserts. Now, what recipe will I try next? show less

Found a lot of old favorites and a few new ones to try: chocolate cranberry bread sounds interesting. the blend of flavors especially.
All kinds of desserts and also holiday drinks to make. Some of these I felt were very involved recipes and would take at least an hour to make.
Some longer, some shorter. The flavor combinations were interesting enough to check out. I thought if the book had pictures of the items I would've rated it a lot show more higher.
