Pax Burnson is the descendant of devas, but after her mother dies vows that she will never use her powers. Amara, her best friend, is also a deva but was always more interested in shopping and fashion than her powers. When Amara's brother Thornton cheats on Pax and Pax's uncle Ash breaks up with Amara watch out. Hell hath no fury like two devas scorned. They team up and use ancient magick to merge together and create a woman, Para, that no one can resist, with one small problem. They can show more only stay this way for 30 minutes at a time. And with that they go forward to seek revenge on their ex's.
From the first page to the last I was hooked. Nadia writes very likable and strong women. You can't help but root for Pax and Amara as they go about their revenge, but at the same time find that you like Thorn and Ash also. It has so many twists, I couldn't help but talk out loud to the book as Para was trying to get away from Ash and he kept pulling her back, with only minutes before she split back into the two women. And in true Nadia fashion the ending leaves you wanting more, and I do want more. I fell in love with her books starting with the Sacred Breath Series( if you haven't read these you should)and I'm so glad there is another series from her just as wonderful. I can't wait to read book 2. I received this book through Goodreads from Nadia and I highly recommend it. Once again Thank you Nadia for writing such wonderful stories. show less

End of Eternity starts where the Clarity series ends. Clarity is about Helen and Eternity is about her sister Carmen.
Carmen is 6 months pregnant when she comes home to find Grayson, her husband hanging from the chandelier. While trying to deal with his death she keeps hearing Grayson in her head saying awful things to her. Why should he be any different in death.
Loretta has done it again by writing a story that grips you from the first page, satisfies you throughout, and leaves you wanting show more more at the end. In the Clarity series I didn't much care for Carmen finding her shallow and selfish, but reading End of Eternity I understand her better and even like her. I am excited that Liam and Owen are back and I can't wait for Book 2.
Simply put you just can't go wrong with a book by Loretta Lost. show less

When I hear "It started out as a lie, but now it's love" I think Freddy Prince Jr in "She's All That". It's a cute story, but my god what the f**k is wrong with Winter (Helen)?! Driving a long distance in the rain with failing eyes!? This girl is insane. It ends sort of sweet, but if you read a little further there is another book, where she doesn't know who Liam is. As much as I liked this book (novella trilogy), It is basically throwing three crazy unlikely circumstances together and show more calling it normal. show less
Holy Crap Good!
This book blew me away. I had no idea it was a novella and devoured it in an evening. And it made me laugh, out loud! No book has ever made me laugh with such intensity. I loved it.
Great perspective and interesting storyline. First person present too. The prologue instantly grabbed me. I think I really related to this character. Something bad happened to her, and she really shut down and hid from the world. And then two freakin' hilarious doctors show up on her doorstep. Okay, show more one sounds like a dream boat, and one has a crude sense of humor, but I instantly liked both of them.
And them bam! Slammed with a twist at the end. Which I don't know why I didn't see it coming, but now I have to read more.
A bit of crude humor and at least one swear word on each page. show less
